A walk along the St Andrews Pier

One warm summer afternoon a young couple went for a stroll along the pier in St Andrews...

And they got a pleasant little surprise. I can tell you after spending some years there, this is as exciting as it ever gets in St Andrews. Oh, I forgot the Lamma's fair! The Open or Masters Golf tournaments do not count, they are more of a pain when you are actually living there.

I took these pictures a couple of years ago while visiting St Andrews University (my alma mater)  after a long interval. Not much has changed after so many years. Amazing!
